After a swift heliborne attack on the city of Shawasana, the Portuguese paratroopers quickly began clearing out the enemy positions and securing the HVTs while Govt. Forces pushed through the main road with an armored convoy in order to reinforce the paratroopers in the city. All 4 HVTs were captured alive and taken into custody of the Govt. Forces, they will be questioned and trialed for their involvement in the rebelion. The captured of the foreign Wagner Commander cause some diplomatic tensions between Russia and the UN forces however any connection to the commander was denied.

With the lost of the command structure and the main stronghold the rebelion died down, a couple of forces remained in the area but eventually fled to Sudan. The MINUSCA mission was considered a massive success, the Portuguese UN QRF was sent back home after a few months and replaced with Pakistani UN Troops. While some terrorist attacks were still being carried out the country managed to get some sort of stability and security for the time being.

Casualties

(Casualties are calculated per player as: >2 Deaths = 1 KIA | <=2 = 1 WIA)

A L-39 Albatros jet was shot down during the operation aswell as 1 BMP-2 from the armored convoy, Govt. Forces suffered 1 KIA and 5 WIA while the Portuguese Paratroopers suffered 2 KIA and 9 WIA.

With the final phase completed this marks the end of the MINUSCA campaign, thank you all who participated. Lessons were learned from this campaign and we’re looking foward to hosting more events in the future.
