Modlist

To install the modlist simply subscribe to the Broma Joint Op Preset mod on the steam workshop, load the mod in the Arma 3 launcher and load it’s dependencies when asked.

Note: This modlist contains the AMZ sound pack, no JSRS or other sound pack will be required.

Briefing

After the initial success from the government forces dealing with the insurgency in the Niakala region, rebel forces managed to regain the upperhand and slowly recaptured lost ground.

With Govt. Forces taking heavy losses the UN forces are forced to take a more direct approach to dealing with the rebel forces in the region. Using the intel collect from the previous phase the task force has been able to identify high value targets of the rebel organization and the objective has shifted to capturing or killing these targets aswell as capturing the main rebel stronghold of Shwasana.

Local informants have also confirmed the presence of Wagner PMC forces in the city hired by the rebels to provide extra security and that the main leaders of the rebel forces are gathering in the city to plan further offensives. This opportunity has prompt the UN forces to request further equipment (L-39 Albatros and armored vehicles) from the local Govt. to make a fast and decisive attack towards the main city with the goal of capturing the leaders of the rebel forces and capturing the stronghold in one go.

The operation will consist of 2 elements, the first being the portuguese paratroopers tasked with assaulting the city (via helicopters), capturing or killing the HVTs and securing the position until reinforcements arrive, the second element will be the govt. forces armored column coming from the south of Niakala tasked with pushing through occupied rebel territory until reaching the occupied city and relieving the portuguese paratroopers.
